Opening to rave reviews in late 1999, Woodmont golf club was named The Best New Golf Course in Georgia in 2000 by Georgia Golf News. Owned by John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods and managed by Affiniti Golf Partners, Woodmont is now known as one of the best golf experiences in the Atlanta area.
The course was designed by
Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and is his only Georgia masterpiece. Woodmont
has white sand bunkers, dramatic views, and plays around several lakes
and streams. The clubhouse was designed by award winning architects Chapman
and Coyle and is ideal for golf outing events, wedding receptions, and
private parties.
